The VEGA Company started its activity in November 2003, when the company's first store opened in Yerevan on Tumanyan street, occupying only 190 sq.m. territory. With limited resources, VEGA successfully made its first attempts to compete with well-known networks, which had already managed to launch large-scale trading activities on the market.

Though the company was operating not more than 5 years, VEGA, which already had a chain of stores, faced the 2008 global financial crisis. In the fight against the global crisis, VEGA begins to apply the most effective methods of business optimization, based on the effectiveness of its work.

During that time, in the summer of 2009, VEGA created and implemented its own unique management software program, due to which the company monitors online both commodity turnover and financial flows till today. VEGA has been launching a steady progress in its operations since 2010, with its rates increasing year by year.

Today VEGA is the largest network in Armenia selling electronics, household and computer equipment, quality furniture, doors and windows, chandeliers and lamps, textile products, high quality mattresses, home accessories, household and professional tools, as well as automotive accessories, bicycles and children's electric cars.

» International Logistics: The VEGA Company also includes logistics hubs in the UAE, Georgia and the Czech Republic.

» Hypermarkets: In Yerevan, VEGA presents the largest hypermarkets of the region in the administrative districts of Nor-Nork, Arabkir and Malatia-Sebastia.

According to the results of polls conducted by MPG, the representative of Gallup International Association in Armenia, for the seventh year in a row VEGA company was recognized as the BEST in two nominations:

Throughout its activities, VEGA remains faithful to its voluntary social mission and periodically participates in charity and environmental projects. All projects are implemented both directly by the VEGA Company and through voluntary contributions from employees. VEGA's primary goal is to support the improvement of Armenia's social status, for which the company periodically increases the number of jobs, particularly in the manufacturing sector, as well as strives to export its goods to foreign markets.
