We are pleased to announce that VEGA, in collaboration with the Yerevan Municipality, L’institut Paris Region, AFD, and Région Île-de-France, is launching a new ecological project aimed at collecting electronic waste.

- Duration: 3 months

✅Our next meeting will take place on September 6 according to the following schedule.

- 15:00 to 15:30 - Davtashen administrative district, near the fountain in Kaghnut Park

- 16:00-16:30 - Ajapnyak administrative district, near the fountain in the park of Buenos Aires

- 17:00-17:30 - Arabkir administrative district, near the fountain in Mergelyan Park

The goal of the project is to ensure controlled and sorted collection of electronic waste in public areas of Yerevan within a short period of time.

Specially equipped collection points will feature 4 to 5 labeled bins, each assigned to a specific waste type.

Accepted types of electronic waste include:

✅Batteries

✅Mobile phones

✅Kitchen appliances (including microwave ovens)

✅Other small electronic items

Trained staff will be present at each location to assist and oversee the proper sorting and disposal of electronic waste.

We believe that responsible environmental behavior starts with small steps. This initiative is one more step toward a cleaner city and a more conscious society.
